Job Description

Hiring Construction Foreman in Atwater The Working Foreman is a highly skilled, hands-on construction professional responsible for leading a crew while actively performing construction work alongside the team. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity on the jobsite.
Position:
Temp to Hire $30-$40hr DOE Monday- Thursday 5am to 4pm must be available for a lot of OT Key Responsibilities Lead, direct, and motivate a construction crew while working hands-on in the field Perform skilled construction tasks such as layout, framing, concrete, structural, and finish work Assign daily tasks and manage workflow to ensure efficient job completion Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications Enforce jobsite safety policies and OSHA compliance Maintain quality control standards across all crew activities Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment needs Communicate daily progress and issues to site leadership Train and mentor crew members and reinforce performance expectations Identify and resolve field issues in real time Required Qualifications 7+ years of hands-on concrete construction experience, 3+years in a lead or foreman role Strong working knowledge of multiple construction trades Proven ability to lead a crew while remaining hands-on Ability to read and understand construction drawings and layouts Strong safety awareness and leadership skills Reliable, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred Qualifications Commercial or industrial construction experience OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Experience operating construction equipment (forklift, lift, skid steer, etc.) Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions Ability to stand, climb, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
