Macson Construction Inc. is looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to join our growing team. We specialize in residential construction and remodeling, including ADUs, kitchen and bathroom remodels, additions, and other renovation projects. We are looking for a working foreman who can lead a crew while also working hands-on in the field. This position is ideal for someone with strong residential construction experience who can take responsibility for day-to-day jobsite operations and help keep projects moving efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise construction crews on residential projects Work hands-on alongside the crew when needed Read and understand construction plans and specifications Coordinate daily tasks and assign work to crew members Maintain quality workmanship and make sure work is completed correctly Keep projects organized and on schedule Prepare material lists and communicate material needs Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades Identify jobsite problems and help find practical solutions Maintain a clean and safe jobsite Communicate daily progress, problems, and upcoming needs with the general contractor/project manager Help prepare work for inspections and make necessary corrections Make sure employees are productive and understand what is expected of them

Experience We're Looking For:

Previous experience as a construction foreman, lead carpenter, or similar leadership position preferred Strong residential remodeling/construction experience Knowledge of framing, drywall, doors, trim, cabinets, and general finish work General understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other trades Ability to read construction plans Ability to manage and work with a small construction crew Strong problem-solving and communication skills Must be dependable, organized, and able to take responsibility for a jobsite Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must have your own basic hand tools We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can help us build a strong, reliable crew as the company continues to grow.
