Position Summary:
We are looking for a Dock Construction Foreman to lead construction and repair of docks. This role includes overseeing daily site operations, managing crew performance, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day operations on dock construction and repair projects Supervise and guide a team of crew members Ensure work meets project plans, deadlines, and quality expectations Maintain a safe and organized worksite Communicate with project managers and leadership regarding progress and issues Coordinate materials, equipment, and tool usageRequirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction, with previous experience as a Foreman Strong leadership and team management abilities Proficiency in carpentry techniques and tools Hands-on experience with construction equipment, hand tools, and power tools High school diploma or GED Solid understanding of safety regulations and jobsite best practices Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail Must have a valid driver's license Must have own hand tools, work boots, and dependable transportation to and from the job siteIdeal Candidate Qualities:
