This includes coordination of subcontractors, material & equipment; ensuring that the contract documents are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities include scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.
Essential Responsibilities:
 Complete knowledge of all subcontract documents, drawings & specifications for the project.  Examines all construction drawings and specifications for suspected constructability issues and potential code violations, etc. and advises the Project Team.  Keeps the project team advised of all revisions and changes made in the field.  Holds weekly safety meetings and closely monitors the safety of subcontractors  Manages the necessary security for the project.  Initiates and maintains all required T&M information and fieldwork orders to allow for proper administration of all change and clarification work.  Maintains an up-to-date daily job diary, documents the progress of the job, and notes any problem areas that affect the timely completion of the planned activities.  Works with the Project team to see that all required permits needed by the Company or subcontractors for temporary and construction work are obtained in a timely manner.  Coordinates and directs all test and inspection activities of agencies and governmental authorities. Ensures all required corrections are made and disputes are satisfactorily resolved. Maintains all appropriate records for tests and inspections.  Participation and development of the overall project schedule. Manages and maintains the project schedule, subcontractor specialty schedules and short interval schedule, etc. as required to guide construction to a successful completion.  Coordinates, directs and monitors the activities of the subcontractors and suppliers.  Maintains positive relations with the public, governmental authorities, owner, architect, engineer, neighbors and all others involved with the project.  Opens the jobsite at the beginning of the workday and secures the jobsite at the end of the workday. Education/Experience Minimum of 5+ years of verifiable experience, through knowledge of trades and computer literacy Construction Site Management and Construction Safety skills Procore Experience Preferred Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook) Organization Skills Excellent communication and leadership skills Certified in CPR and First Aid Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Knowledge of building codes and regulations Certified in CPR and First Aid Company website: www.dciconst.com
