Job Description

HIRING FOREMAN
$44.00 - $46.00 per hour depending on experience
REQUIREMENTS MUST
be a part of local union 1184 CA driver's license Clean driving/DMV record Prior knowledge of landscape/construction equipment preferred
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with, oversee, manage, train, and coordinate the daily work/tasks of employees Understand all aspects of landscape trade items (irrigation, grading, planting, drainage, etc.) Read and comprehend plans and specifications (dimensions, elevations, square footages, etc.) Determine and calculate required materials based upon site logistics, (areas, depths, etc.) Skilled in all standard pieces of equipment (mini excavator, bobcat, backhoe, roto-tiller, etc.) Conduct weekly Safety Meetings (Tailgate Meetings) for all crew members Maintain records of safety meetings held Communicate best landscape industry trade skills to crew Ensure the active use of required safety gear, enforce OSHA regulations, and promote a hazard-free work environment Maintain daily logs of progress, attendance, and equipment maintenance

RESPONSABILIDADES GENERALES
Trabajar con, supervisar, administrar, capacitar y coordinar el trabajo / tareas diarias de los empleados Entender todos los aspectos de los artículos comerciales paisaje (riego, nivelación, plantación, drenaje) Leer y comprender los planos y especificaciones (dimensiones, elevaciones, pies cuadrados) Determinar y calcular los materiales necesarios sobre la base de logística de la obra, (zonas, profundidades) Experto en todas las piezas estándar de equipos (mini excavadora, bobcat, retroexcavadora, roto-tiller) Llevar a cabo reuniones de seguridad semanales (reuniones informales) para todos los miembros de la tripulación Mantener registros de las reuniones de seguridad Garantizar el uso activo del equipo de seguridad requerido, hacer cumplir las regulaciones de OSHA y promover un entorno de trabajo libre de peligros Mantener registros diarios de progreso, asistencia y mantenimiento de equipos
