Foreman will provide training and supervision to electricians, coordinate with Client/Owners and General Contractor's on site, and manage materials and orders for electrical equipment and supplies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use standard trade tools to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. Bend and install rigid conduit, pull and terminate wire, and install electrical panels and equipment. Overseeing and coordinating the work of electrical crews. Maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget. Interpret plans, designs, and specifications to ensure that electrical systems are installed according to plan. Communicate with other contractors and construction managers to ensure that electrical work is coordinated with other trades. Train electrical technicians and apprentices Ensure that electrical work meets all safety regulations and codes. Troubleshoot problems with electrical systems and equipment Effectively communicate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to address project requirements and specifications. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Current California Certified General Electrician card. DAS approved apprenticeship graduate preferred. Minimum of 8 years of foreman experience in industrial electrical construction, with a proven track record of successful project completion. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods. Familiarity with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations. Understanding of project management principles and practices. Proficient in the use of industry-standard software for project planning and documentation.
Pay:
Prevailing Wage between $80-$125/hour plus additional pay for foreman responsibility Telstar Instruments is an equal opportunity employer
