The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can effectively direct crews, coordinate field activities, maintain high-quality workmanship, and ensure work is completed safely and according to project plans and schedules. Provide day-to-day leadership to field team and coordinate construction activities under the direction of the Project Managers and Director of Construction. This role is responsible for assigning work, monitoring productivity, coordinating materials and equipment, maintaining safety and quality standards, and communicating field conditions and progress to project leadership. Responsibilities Supervise and manage construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth daily operations on-site. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction schedules to coordinate project activities effectively. Oversee construction safety management by enforcing OSHA standards and federal safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Coordinate project scheduling using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or HeavyBid to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation. Review construction drawings and technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Manage project budgets, track costs, and assist in procurement processes while maintaining quality control standards. Lead site meetings, communicate progress updates, and address any issues promptly to keep projects on track. Qualifications 3-5 years of commercial construction experience, with prior Foreman or crew-lead experience preferred. Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with demonstrated supervisory and crew management skills. Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety protocols (including OSHA), and quality assurance practices. Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately. Experience managing project schedules, coordinating construction activities, and supervising teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster collaboration. Familiarity with construction safety management practices including federal safety regulations and OSHA standards. Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, construction drawing review, and technical document interpretation. Knowledge of budgeting processes, cost tracking, and procurement procedures within large-scale projects. Construction site experience with a focus on quality control and adherence to safety standards; familiarity with tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing is a plus.
