Job Description

Job Overview Fortini Landscapes is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to lead and oversee outdoor landscaping projects from start to finish. Fortini Landscapes is a team of talented professionals motivated by relationships, commitments and results. We have been committed to business, clients and community for more than twenty years and have projects throughout California. In this role, you will coordinate crews, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain safety standards while delivering exceptional landscape installations. Lead and supervise landscape construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Provide customer support on all jobs. Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines and Maintain accurate daily and weekly activity logs. Conduct weekly safety meetings with crew to maintain high standards of quality control by inspecting work sites regularly Ensure adherence to all company safety policies as well as OSHA safety standards. Ensure that all new crew employees are properly trained on company policies, procedures as well as company culture Collaborate with clients, designers, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met or exceeded. Insure the proper and efficient use of tools and equipment in the field and Manage equipment maintenance and ensure all tools and machinery are used responsibly and efficiently. Communication with project manager and ownership. Requirements and Skills that we are seeking: Minimum, 5+ years of verifiable Landscape Construction Experience or related experience. Thorough knowledge of landscape construction means and methods, irrigation, plant material identification, as well as the ability to read and comprehend landscape plan sets and material take-offs. . Must be able to operate all hand and necessary heavy equipment such as mini excavators, skid steers, trenchers, and landscape loaders. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs Ability to work in extreme conditions where temperatures may exceed 100 degrees /+ Posses a strong work ethic as well as the ability to research and self educate continually. Posses the ability to build solid relationships with team members, sub contractors, vendors and clients. Strong attention to safety, detail, timeliness as well as customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Valid CA drivers license. Spanish language fluency.
