Job Description Job Description Job Description New Century Construction is a growing construction company based in Turlock, Ca. We are looking to expand our team with an experienced, hands-on Construction Foreman/Working Superintendent. This position is for someone who can perform construction work, lead crews and subcontractors, and take responsibility for the daily operation of a jobsite. The right candidate must be able to review plans, organize the work, prepare for inspections, identify problems, and keep projects moving with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Perform and oversee hands-on construction work Lead field crews and coordinate subcontractors Review plans, specifications, and project requirements Plan daily work and assign responsibilities Coordinate materials, equipment, deliveries, and inspections Confirm work is complete and ready before requesting inspections Monitor workmanship, safety, and jobsite organization Identify and resolve field issues Communicate project progress, delays, and material needs Travel to projects throughout the Central Valley and surrounding areas Qualifications Minimum five years of construction experience Experience with public works, commercial, and residential construction Experience leading crews and coordinating subcontractors Ability to read plans and manage daily field operations Knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and inspections Dependable, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to drive a truck and tow a construction trailer Bilingual English and Spanish are a plus Experience with concrete, framing, tenant improvements, and general construction is preferred.
