Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Plumbing Foreman/Journeyman and lead the charge on large-scale plumbing projects within commercial construction environments. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations on-site, coordinate with GC per Plumbing plan requirements, and ensure that all plumbing systems are installed safely, efficiently, and up to current plumbing codes. Your expertise will drive project success from start to finish, inspiring teams and maintaining quality at every step. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of plumbing crews on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes Oversee the installation of plumbing , including gas, DWV, water pipe and underground systems per plans Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and industry standards throughout all phases of work Manage material inventory, order supplies as needed, and maintain accurate documentation of project progress Conduct site inspections to monitor quality control, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions promptly Collaborate with onsite GC superintendent to coordinate schedules and meet project deadlines Experience Proven experience in plumbing, with a strong background in commercial projects. 4-6 years. Demonstrated leadership as a foreman or supervisor on construction sites involving plumbing systems Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing and HVAC systems Hands-on experience with Mega and Pro Press tools, soldering, and the use of hand tools and power tools Familiarity with construction site safety practices and heavy lifting techniques Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations Knowledge of carpentry skills related to framing or structural adjustments is a plus.. Valid driver's license preferred for site travel or material delivery task
CONN-ECT PLUMBING LLC
is a growing commercial/residential plumbing company. We currently serve both residential and commercial clients, with a heavier focus on commercial for future growth. We currently are in need of a qualified journeyman plumber with at least 4-6 years commercial/ residential experience for this prevailing wage project. Hours will range from 30-40/week..
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have transportation to and from jobsite and tools.
  • Must be able to take initiative when problems arise.
  • Must work well with others.
  • Must have understanding of waste and vent systems, water piping systems and gas systems as well.
  • Must know how to solder/braze copper piping and have understanding of Uponor pex water piping systems.
  • Must be professional, alcohol and drug free.
