Job Description
Foreman - Heavy Civil Construction We're seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Foreman to lead crews on roadway and underground utility projects in the Durango, Colorado area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in building quality infrastructure and running safe, productive jobsites. If you thrive in the field, know how to keep crews moving, and understand what it takes to deliver projects on schedule and on budget — we want to talk to you. What You'll Do Lead and supervise field crews on roadway, grading, and underground utility installations Coordinate daily work activities, equipment, and materials Read and interpret plans, specifications, and grade stakes Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Maintain production schedules and communicate progress to Project Managers and Superintendents Troubleshoot field challenges and keep projects moving efficiently Oversee installation of storm, sewer, and water systems Perform quality control and ensure work meets project specifications What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in heavy civil construction Strong background in roadway construction and underground utilities Proven leadership experience managing crews in the field Ability to read blueprints and understand grading/layout Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus Strong commitment to jobsite safety What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Stable backlog of work with growth opportunities Opportunity to live and work in the Durango area This is an opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong reputation for quality and safety.
