Civil Construction Operating Foreman in Bristol,CT,US

We have immediate positions available for experienced Operating Foremen who are able to take commercial earthwork projects from inception to completion. This is a full time, year around, long term position.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

1. The operating foreman must be able to read blueprints, shoot grades, layout work, conduct toolbox safety meeting each morning, set up the work, and manage the equipment operators and laborers, accurately and productively. GPS experience is a plus. 2. You must be able to safely and efficiently run heavy equipment, excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, skid steers etc. Need to be capable of executing Project Manager's directives in running commercial site work projects. Including installation of water, sewer and storm pipe installation, road base & roadway installation, utility work, fine grading, foundation prep, curb installation, etc. 3. You will manage the project timeline, communicate with subcontractors, keep them on schedule and oversee the quality of their work. 4. Keep a daily log of work performed, including uploading progress pictures to our online platform. 5. Must be willing to work overtime and some Saturday's, if needed. Be responsible for fueling, care & routine maintenance of equipment. Always ensure a safe work environment 6. Self-starter, show initiative, be on-time and lead by example. 7. Must have a valid driver's license and transportation to work.
