Full Job Description Position Overview:
Vero Maintenance is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Supervisor to lead our plumbing team and ensure high-quality service delivery across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical plumbing expertise with leadership abilities to oversee daily operations, mentor technicians, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, coordinate, and support a team of plumbers and maintenance technicians Plan, assign, and review plumbing work orders to ensure timely and efficient completion Inspect installations, repairs, and maintenance work to ensure quality and compliance with codes and company standards Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and provide technical guidance to team members Draft accurate job estimates, including labor, materials, and timelines Source materials, equipment, and supplies while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards Ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Manage inventory, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance Collaborate with other departments and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement Assist in budgeting, cost control, and resource planning
Qualifications:
Proven experience in plumbing, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or lead role Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety regulations Demonstrated experience preparing estimates and sourcing materials Familiarity with boilers, water heaters, and a wide range of plumbing systems is required Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong communication and interpersonal skills Valid plumbing license/certification (as required by local regulations) Proficiency with maintenance management systems is a plus
Preferred Skills:
Experience in facility maintenance or property management Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
