Overview:

A growing general contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to support a commercial/mixed-use project in Aventura. This role requires a technically strong field leader capable of coordinating complex building systems across multiple occupancy types, including office, retail, and parking structures. Key Responsibilities Lead field coordination of all MEP systems from rough-in through startup, testing, and final acceptance Coordinate closely with MEP trades, structural and architectural teams to minimize clashes and rework Manage inspections, code compliance, life-safety systems, and closeout documentation Identify and mitigate procurement risks, schedule impacts, and predecessor gaps Enforce subcontractor accountability for manpower, quality, and milestone commitments Qualifications Proven MEP coordination experience on vertical commercial or mixed-use projects Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and low-voltage systems Experience with system startup, testing, commissioning, and project closeout Ability to coordinate across structure, interiors, and turnover phases Strong communication skills with PMs, consultants, inspectors, and trades Experience with tools such as Procore and Bluebeam preferred Florida experience and bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Why This Role Matters This project involves a broader and more complex systems scope than typical multifamily builds, requiring a versatile MEP leader who can proactively manage coordination and prevent bottlenecks.

Pay:

$115,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
