Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Pipe Foreman to lead and supervise field crews on underground utility and piping projects. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of pipe installation, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of pipe crews on job sites Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications Ensure proper installation of water, sewer, and storm drain systems Maintain project schedules and communicate progress with project managers Enforce safety standards and company policies on-site Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and skills Coordinate equipment, materials, and subcontractors as needed Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in pipe laying or utility construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of underground utilities, trenching, grading, and excavation Ability to read and understand construction drawings and grade stakes Excellent leadership and communication skills Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
Preferred Skills:
Experience with GPS/laser grading equipment Ability to operate heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, etc.) Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience:
foreman: 2 years (Required) underground utility pipe installation: 5 years (Required)
