Florida Civil, Inc. | Tri-County Area, Florida Build Your Career with a Leader in Dewatering Solutions Florida Civil, Inc. is a leading provider of dewatering, ground stabilization, and water management solutions for commercial and civil construction projects throughout South Florida. We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman / Equipment Operator to lead field crews, operate heavy equipment, and ensure the successful execution of dewatering projects in a fast-paced construction environment. If you are a hands-on leader with strong equipment operating experience and a "get it done" attitude, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including pumps, excavators, and skid steers/loaders. Lead and coordinate field crews to maintain safe and efficient operations. Read and interpret construction plans and establish dewatering systems. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on dewatering equipment. Monitor and maintain compliance with safety requirements and environmental regulations. Communicate project status and site conditions with project managers and clients. Maintain a professional, respectful work environment while supporting team success. Required Minimum 5 years of construction experience . Experience with excavation, trenching, water management, or related construction work. Proficiency operating heavy equipment and pumps. Strong leadership and crew management skills. Valid Florida driver's license with insurable driving record. Ability to work on active construction sites in varying conditions. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and work safely around construction equipment. Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Preferred OSHA 10-Hour Certification. HAZCOM Certification. Bilingual English/Spanish. Class A CDL.
