This leadership role supervises plumbing crews, coordinates with project managers and general contractors, and maintains high standards of workmanship and productivity on the job site. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead commercial plumbing crews on new construction, renovation, and tenant improvement projects. Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work activities to meet project deadlines and budget requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. Ensure all plumbing installations comply with local, state, and federal codes and regulations. Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to maximize productivity. Conduct job site inspections to verify quality control and adherence to project specifications. Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations, promoting a safe work environment. Train, mentor, and develop apprentices and plumbing technicians. Track project progress and communicate updates to project managers and stakeholders. Identify and resolve installation issues, field conflicts, and scheduling challenges. Manage material orders, inventory, and equipment utilization. Attend project meetings and collaborate with other trades to ensure smooth project execution. Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping records, and project documentation. QualificationsRequired Journeyman Plumber license (where required by state or local regulations). Minimum 5 years of commercial plumbing experience. Minimum 2 years of supervisory or foreman experience. Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, installations, and code requirements. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Master Plumber license. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Experience industrial, or large-scale commercial projects. Experience with BIM, Procore, Bluebeam, or other construction management software. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions. Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated work areas when required.
