Job Description

Job Summary Performance Personnel Services (PPS) is seeking an experienced General Foreman to oversee multiple electrical crews on large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects. The General Foreman serves as the primary liaison between the client, project management, and PPS leadership while ensuring all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), has extensive heavy commercial and industrial electrical experience, and possesses proven leadership managing multiple Foremen, Journeyman Electricians, Apprentices, and Helpers. Experience with mission-critical facilities and MC 660 terminations is highly preferred. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operations Supervise and support multiple Electrical Foremen and their assigned crews. Coordinate daily manpower assignments to maximize productivity and project efficiency. Ensure all work is completed according to project schedules, specifications, and quality standards. Conduct daily planning meetings with Foremen to review production goals and manpower needs. Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, site leadership, and PPS Management. Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, and labor forecasting. Daily Administrative ResponsibilitiesWorkforce Management Monitor the performance and productivity of all PPS electricians assigned to the project. Ensure proper crew staffing levels are maintained. Assist in evaluating employee performance. Mentor and develop Foremen for future leadership opportunities. Timekeeping Ensure all Foremen submit accurate daily timesheets. Verify employee names, dates, time in, and time out are accurate. Submit or verify timesheets according to company deadlines. Communication Maintain daily communication with the client and site management. Maintain weekly communication with the PPS Leadership Team via phone and/or text. Provide updates regarding manpower, production, project progress, and staffing needs. Immediately communicate any significant project issues. Safety Responsibilities Promote and enforce all OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Conduct routine safety observations. Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings. Immediately report all incidents, injuries, near misses, and unsafe working conditions. Ensure proper PPE is worn at all times. Quality Control Ensure installations meet project specifications and NEC requirements. Perform quality inspections of completed work. Verify conduit installations, cable tray systems, terminations, equipment installations, and electrical testing meet customer expectations. Coordinate inspections and punch list completion. Attendance & Employee Relations Report attendance issues, tardiness, or absenteeism immediately to PPS Leadership. Notify PPS immediately when any employee leaves the project voluntarily or involuntarily. Address employee concerns professionally while maintaining productivity. Assist with coaching and corrective actions when necessary. Project Coordination Attend daily coordination meetings with client leadership. Coordinate work activities with other trades. Review blueprints, specifications, and project schedules. Assist with resolving field conflicts and unforeseen jobsite conditions. Monitor project milestones and production goals. Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) - Required Minimum 8 years of Heavy Commercial or Industrial Electrical experience. Minimum 3 years as an Electrical General Foreman or managing multiple Foremen. Experience on mission-critical or data center construction projects strongly preferred. Extensive knowledge of MC 660 terminations. Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems. Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations. OSHA 30 Certification required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Data Centers Mission Critical Construction Medium Voltage Systems High Voltage Systems Transformers Switchgear UPS Systems Generators PLCs Motor Controls Industrial Control Systems Experience managing crews of 30-100+ electricians. Ability to coordinate multiple work areas simultaneously. Strong scheduling and manpower planning skills. Physical Requirements Frequently walk active construction sites. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Climb ladders and work from lifts when necessary. Work in varying weather conditions. Stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods. Work in elevated areas and confined spaces as required. Work Environment Large-scale commercial and industrial construction sites. Mission-critical data center facilities. Exposure to loud noises, heavy equipment, dust, and changing weather conditions. Fast-paced environment with multiple crews and shifting priorities. #HP100

$40.00 - $44.00 per hour
