Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily activities of pipe crews involved in the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground water and sewer pipelines systems. This role requires a minimum of 5 years experience with a strong understanding of coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project deadlines. Responsibilities Supervise and direct pipe crews on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to crew members. Ensure pipe installation meets project requirements and industry standards. Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, and subcontractors. Monitor crew productivity and maintain project schedules. Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy. Enforce OSHA and company safety policies. Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks. Order and manage materials, tools, and equipment. Troubleshoot field issues and resolve construction challenges. Maintain daily reports, production logs, and time records. Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and safe work practices. Experience High school diploma or GED preferred. 5+ years of experience in pipe installation or utility construction. Previous supervisory or leadership experience. Ability to read construction plans and specifications. Knowledge of underground utilities, storm drain, sanitary sewer, water main, and related piping systems. Familiarity with excavation, trench safety, and heavy equipment operations. Valid driver's license. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
