We have worked hard for over 55 years to offer a wealth of technical expertise in all areas of utility construction, and excavating services, including earth moving, land clearing, and demolition. We have broad experience in stormwater drainage, water lines, sanitary lines, and stormwater retention. JOB DUTIES
As the Utility Division Foreman you will be responsible for overseeing a crew that works directly installing water, sewer, and storm utilities. The ideal candidate must be able to develop workaround procedures for maintaining crew productivity during delays caused by other trades, customers, lack of materials, absenteeism, etc. Maintain responsible construction site with the ability to supervise a specific utility crew of at least 4 employees Ability to read blueprints, grades, and elevations Operate job specific heavy machinery equipment and experience with GPS technology Coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure the job is meeting all requirements and customer expectations Complete JSA and Trench Inspections forms Make operational decisions in the best interest of employees Ensures safety practices are observed by all crews during their work, monitors quality assurance and ensures installations meet customer specification and industry standards. Representing the company as Best-in-Class in job meetings with owners, customers, and inspectors Ability to effectively use different app systems to complete daily tasks such as job reports, approval, pictures, email, site management, time entry, etc. Proactively communicate with the Superintendent to get the materials and information you need All other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
OSHA 10 certification and confined space and trench inspection certification preferred Aptitude in math Experience in trench shoring & installing water, sewer, and storm utilities. Equipment operating experience running an excavator, trencher, dozer etc. Familiarity with technology and ability to use company software Must be able to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver's license Ability to follow instructions, read and interpret instructions Ability to effectively communicate professionally with all personnel, clients, and customers Strong managerial skills, ability to multitask, make decisions
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or
GED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3-5 years of civil construction experience and or utility site work.
SCHEDULE
1st shift position, Monday - Friday, Overtime as needed.
