This role is both leadership-driven and hands-on, requiring a strong technical background combined with the ability to manage technicians, customer relationships, scheduling, billing, and parts procurement. The ideal candidate began their career as a field technician and has advanced into a leadership role, bringing deep expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing construction equipment and related systems. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for customers while ensuring field technicians are deployed efficiently and jobs are completed accurately and profitably.

Primary Job Duties Customer Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, communicating job scope, timelines, and solutions while maintaining strong professional relationships
Scheduling & Dispatching:
Plan, schedule, and dispatch field technicians based on job priority, technician skill level, and geographic efficiency
Billing & Job Management:
Own the full billing process, including reviewing work orders, ensuring accuracy of labor and parts, and finalizing invoices in a timely manner
Parts Procurement:
Identify, source, and order all required parts for field jobs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with job requirements and timelines
Technical Leadership:
Provide hands-on support to technicians in the field as needed, assisting with advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and complex repairs
Work Oversight & Quality Control:
Monitor field work to ensure repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards
Team Development:
Mentor and train field technicians on proper diagnostic procedures, repair techniques, and effective use of tools and technology
Operational Coordination:
Manage multiple active jobs simultaneously, ensuring clear communication between customers, technicians, and internal operations
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in training and stay current with evolving construction equipment technology, diagnostic tools, and industry best practices Physical Requirements Ability to lift 75+ lbs Comfort working on active construction sites Ability to work in all weather conditions Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periods Ability to work on and around heavy moving equipment safely
