HTI Painting is hiring a Working Foreman in Wichita, KS to lead commercial painting crews across a variety of projects throughout the Midwest. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can successfully manage people, coordinate jobsite activity, and maintain strong communication with project managers, contractors, and clients. About the Role As a Working Foreman, you will lead by example while actively working alongside your crew. You'll be responsible for maintaining productivity, ensuring quality workmanship, and keeping projects on schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting commercial paint crews on job sites Coordinating with general contractors and other trades Communicating project updates to project management Tracking labor production and job progress Managing material orders and inventory Documenting and communicating change orders Representing HTI Painting in jobsite meetings Maintaining a safe, organized, and professional work environment What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Self-motivated and dependable Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable leading teams in fast-paced environments Strong under pressure and able to handle difficult conversations professionally Skilled at multitasking across multiple projects Professional in appearance and communication Committed to quality workmanship and team success Requirements Commercial painting experience Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel overnight as needed Ability to read and understand architectural plans Fluent in English Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working in high-paced and occasionally high-stress environments Ability to manage crews and multiple active projects simultaneously High attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Spanish fluency Experience with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
