Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. In this vital role, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, manage teams of skilled tradespeople, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and maintain project schedules. Your leadership will drive project success by supervising crews, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale commercial construction projects while fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment. Responsibilities Lead and manage construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide on-site activities. Coordinate construction schedules using project management software such as Primavera P6 and Construction management software to meet deadlines. Supervise daily site operations, including safety compliance in accordance with OSHA and federal construction safety regulations. Oversee quality control measures, ensuring work meets industry standards and client expectations. Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and adherence to contractual obligations. Conduct regular safety meetings, enforce safety protocols, and maintain compliance with all construction regulations. Monitor project budgets and assist in cost estimation using Construction estimating tools like HeavyBid. Review construction drawings for accuracy and clarity before work begins. Communicate effectively with management, clients, and team members regarding project progress and issues. Requirements Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a strong background in supervising teams on active sites. Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, Management tools, and Construction scheduling platforms. Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards, federal safety regulations, and construction safety management practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately. Hands-on experience with construction site operations including blueprint reading, quality control inspections, and safety protocols. Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Familiarity with managing contracts, budgets, project scheduling, and construction estimating processes. Valid certifications in OSHA safety training; additional certifications such as Ohmmeter use or specific trade licenses are advantageous.
