A Construction Foreman supervises work crews at construction sites. Hires and manages construction workers and directs work according to plans developed by a project manager and architects. May specialize in a particular type of building project such as residential or industrial construction, or a particular part or stage of the construction process.
$54-$56 per hour Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Energy Working Foreman to lead and work alongside field crews performing electrical utility construction, maintenance, and restoration. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating daily operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects stay on schedule. Responsibilities Lead and work alongside electrical utility field crews. Coordinate daily work assignments, manpower, equipment, and materials. Oversee overhead and underground electrical distribution projects. Read and interpret utility prints, maps, work orders, and construction plans. Conduct daily safety meetings and job hazard assessments. Ensure compliance with OSHA and established utility safety standards. Monitor productivity, workmanship, and project progress. Train and mentor crew members on safe and effective work practices. Maintain required field reports, timesheets, and project documentation. Support storm restoration and emergency response operations as needed. Qualifications 5+ years of electrical utility construction or distribution experience. Previous Foreman, Lead Lineman, or crew leadership experience. Strong knowledge of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems. Ability to read utility prints, drawings, and specifications. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license required. CDL Class A preferred. First Aid/CPR certification preferred. Storm restoration experience is a plus. Work Requirements Must be able to work outdoors in varying conditions, lift up to 75 pounds, and work extended hours, weekends, or emergency assignments when required.
