Job Description
Job Description Superior Resources is a multi-state licensed general contractor in commercial Building Construction. We are hiring Construction Supervisors to join our team to oversee construction, facility maintenance, and overhead door projects. Overhead Door and Dock services provided by Overhead Door Co. of Mid Louisiana, a division of Superior Resources. Responsibilities Oversee field workers & subcontractors at jobsites to execute scope of work Perform related tasks associated with facility maintenance and construction related activities. Setup and secure a safe working environment Ensure that all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are onsite to carry out job duties Ensure maintenance and proper storage of construction equipment and tools Monitor work and procedures to ensure that safety and quality is maintained and that schedules are being followed Create reports daily and ensure that any significant information is communicated to the supervisor. Travel to jobsites to perform assessments, meet with contractors, and customers on a regular basis Work closely with Project Managers and Estimators Must have a general knowledge of construction and be able to operate power tools and small equipment Requirements Experienced and multi-tasked individual with general construction capabilities Minimum 5 years prior work experience in construction related field. Ability to lift to 50lbs. Must be able to manage crew, subs, and other jobsite activities Ability to operate hand and power tools, small equipment, lifts, etc. Load and unload trucks and trailers Valid Class D driver's license and clean driving record Prescreen drug testing and background check. Overnight travel & out of state work
