  • 35 per hour base pay , based on experience Opportunity to earn higher project-based or prevailing-wage rates on qualifying jobs Direct-hire position Full-time schedule with approximately 40-50 hours per week Variety of residential, commercial, government, and light industrial projects Hands-on leadership role with responsibility for your own crew and jobsites Opportunity to work outdoors and avoid being stuck in the same location every day Strong benefits package and long-term career potential Many projects are performed under government or prevailing-wage contracts, meaning qualified assignments may pay above the standard base rate depending on the project and applicable wage requirements.
What You'll Be Doing As the Fence Installation Foreman, you'll lead crews in the field and help ensure every project is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
Your day may include:
Leading and coordinating fence installation and repair crews Managing residential, commercial, government, and light industrial projects Reviewing work orders, plans, drawings, specifications, and blueprints Planning daily jobsite activity and keeping projects moving efficiently Coordinating crew members, materials, subcontractors, and project timelines Ensuring installations meet quality, customer, and safety expectations Operating and overseeing equipment such as augers, diggers, post pounders, generators, saws, compressors, and hand tools Communicating with customers, project partners, regulatory agencies, and internal teams Maintaining safe, organized jobsites and following OSHA and company safety requirements Using phones, tablets, GPS systems, and portable computers for job tracking and communication What We're Looking For This could be a great fit if you have: 2+ years of foreman or crew-lead experience Strong hands-on fence installation experience 5+ years of fencing experience preferred Experience leading jobs and crews in the field Ability to read blueprints, construction drawings, work orders, and project plans Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills A valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to obtain or maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate Comfort traveling between jobsites and working outdoors in varying conditions OSHA 10 certification and a hoisting license are strong pluses. Candidates must also be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, including marijuana.
