Responsibilities Supervise and manage electrical crews on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans, specifications, NEC requirements, and project standards Interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents to guide installation and troubleshooting activities Oversee the installation of commercial electrical systems including feeders, branch circuits, panels, switchgear, lighting, controls, transformers, and power distribution equipment Lead and supervise generator installations , including equipment placement, feeder installation, grounding and bonding, control wiring, battery systems, and associated electrical connections Oversee automatic transfer switch (ATS) installations , including normal and emergency power connections, control wiring, generator start circuits, communications wiring, and integration with emergency and standby power systems Coordinate generator and ATS installations with manufacturers, vendors, general contractors, mechanical contractors, and other trades to ensure proper system integration Verify generator, ATS, and emergency power installations against approved drawings, manufacturer requirements, project specifications, and applicable electrical codes Assist with generator and ATS startup, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning , including coordination with manufacturer representatives and commissioning teams Verify proper operation of automatic and manual transfer sequences, generator start signals, emergency power circuits, and related control systems Enforce OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and federal construction safety standards;
