In this role, you will oversee daily operations on-site, coordinate with project teams, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality electrical systems on time and within budget. Your leadership will drive project success by supervising skilled electricians, managing resources, and maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and technical specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in construction management and electrical systems while fostering a collaborative and safety-focused work environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical installation activities on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and according to project plans. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align schedules, materials, and resources for seamless project execution. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes accurately. Manage daily site operations including scheduling labor, ordering materials, and monitoring progress against project timelines using construction management software such as ProCore or Primavera P6. Enforce OSHA safety regulations and conduct regular safety meetings to promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Conduct quality control inspections to verify that electrical work meets industry standards and client specifications. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, change orders, and site reports; utilize tools like Bluebeam for digital documentation. Supervise the use of testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical systems and ensure proper functionality before project completion. Qualifications Proven experience as a foreman or supervisor in commercial electrical construction with a strong background in managing large-scale projects. Extensive knowledge of electrical codes, blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes. Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Primavera for scheduling and project tracking. Strong understanding of contracts, budgeting principles, and management techniques within the construction industry. Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards aligned with OSHA regulations. Skilled in using construction site tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical systems and troubleshooting issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines on complex projects. Relevant certifications such as OSHA safety training are required; additional certifications in construction management or electrical systems are a plus.
