We are looking for someone with extensive roofing knowledge, strong leadership skills, and the ability to take control of a job and keep it moving without constant direction. This position is for an experienced professional who knows the roofing and exterior construction industry and can identify problems, make good decisions, and figure things out in the field without needing to be handheld. Starting Pay $40.00 per hour , based on experience, with room to grow for the right person. Responsibilities Lead and oversee roofing crews and job sites Ensure work is completed correctly, safely, and efficiently Maintain a high standard of workmanship Read the job, anticipate problems, and determine solutions in the field Coordinate materials, labor, and daily job-site needs Communicate effectively with management, crews, homeowners, and other trades Perform and oversee roofing repairs, replacements, flashing, and detail work Troubleshoot leaks and other roofing-related issues Perform sheet-metal and exterior trim work as needed Properly operate a sheet-metal brake Understand how roofing integrates with siding, gutters, fascia, soffit, windows, framing, and other surrounding trades Keep crews productive and jobs moving without requiring constant supervision Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site Requirements Extensive roofing experience and knowledge is required Previous foreman, crew leader, or similar leadership experience Must have experience using a sheet-metal brake and be capable of completing brake work independently Strong knowledge of flashing, roof penetrations, valleys, chimneys, siding/roof transitions, and other critical exterior details General working knowledge of siding, gutters, soffit, fascia, carpentry/framing, and related exterior trades Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to lead a crew and hold employees accountable for quality and productivity Able to work independently and make sound decisions in the field Reliable, organized, and able to communicate professionally Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Who We're Looking For We need someone who can be given a job and take ownership of it from start to finish . You should be the type of person who sees a problem and works out the solution rather than waiting for someone else to tell you every step. This is not an entry-level roofing position . We are looking for someone who already understands the trade and is ready to take on a leadership role. Starting at $40/hour with room for increased compensation and growth based on experience, performance, and responsibility.
