In this role, you will be responsible for managing on-site operations, supervising construction teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. Your leadership will drive quality workmanship, adherence to blueprints and schematics, and seamless coordination among subcontractors and suppliers. Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align project goals and timelines. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide team activities. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct regular safety inspections to maintain a secure work environment. Oversee quality control measures, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client expectations. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, or HeavyBid for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting purposes. Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling using Primavera or similar tools; adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines. Conduct site inspections with tools like ohmmeters for electrical systems; ensure all work complies with technical specifications. Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, change orders, contracts, and safety reports. Experience Proven management experience in heavy civil construction or related fields with a strong background in supervising construction sites. Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or equivalent platforms. Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control using Primavera P6 or HeavyBid. Strong understanding of contracts, schematics, blueprints reading, and construction estimating processes. Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards. Prior supervision experience demonstrating leadership in managing teams effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
