  • Startup is seeking a dynamic and experienced Asphalt Foreman to lead maintenance and construction projects with an opportunity for ownership.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to have equity and ownership, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every project. As the leader on-site, you will run crews, coordinate schedules, review technical drawings, and ensure compliance with all safety and construction regulations. Your expertise will drive project success from start to finish while fostering a collaborative team environment that promotes continuous improvement and excellence. Duties Estimate and Sell jobs. Lead asphalt maintenance crew, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards Coordinate daily construction schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed to meet project deadlines Review blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and schematics to interpret project requirements accurately Conduct construction site inspections to enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and federal safety regulations Oversee quality control processes, including material testing and adherence to specifications for asphalt paving projects Review contracts and ensure compliance with construction regulations and project scope Supervise subcontractors and manage crew performance through effective management techniques and managerial communication skills Ensure proper interpretation of technical drawings and schematics for accurate execution of work Skills Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a focus on asphalt paving or maintenance projects Expertise in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans Skilled in managing teams within a construction management role with excellent crew management capabilities Familiarity with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment Ability to coordinate construction schedules effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously Experience in construction estimating, budgeting, quality control measures, and contract review processes Competence in managing construction site safety programs including OSHA compliance and safety training sessions Strong managerial communication skills for supervising teams and coordinating with clients or stakeholders Join us as an Asphalt Foreman where your leadership will shape successful projects that stand the test of time!
