In this role, you will provide leadership oversight and be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of residential and commercial properties by performing a variety of landscape maintenance tasks. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this position. Duties Mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing lawns and garden beds. Planting, pruning, and maintaining shrubs, trees, flowers, and other plants. Removing weeds, debris, and litter from lawns, gardens, and pathways. Applying pesticides and herbicides as directed. Operating landscape maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, blowers, trimmers, and sprayers. Ensuring proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment. Communicating with supervisors, crew members, and clients to ensure satisfaction with services provided. Adhering to safety standards and guidelines to promote a safe working environment. Lead and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards. Skills Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in leadership or crew management is a plus. Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and customer service orientation. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including mowing techniques and irrigation systems. Experience with tree care methods and hardscape construction is a plus.
