Travel assignment, flexible schedulingQualifications:
Active RN license Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Rehab or Long-Term Care settings Comprehensive understanding of patient safety initiatives, including safe patient handling and infection control Ability to perform thorough nursing assessments and implement individualized care plans Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, and dedication to patient and staff safetyResponsibilities:
Complete nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, establishing individualized care plans Identify teaching needs for patients and families, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams Participate actively in rehabilitation programs, delivering compassionate, patient-focused care Provide accurate, timely documentation and participate in weekly team conferences Initiate discharge planning and patient/family teaching from admission onward Communicate patient status and changes to ensure seamless, safe care transitions Delegate appropriately and mentor ancillary staff Maintain an organized and safe environment in line with hospital protocols Pursue ongoing professional development and participate in team-building initiatives Assume charge nurse duties post-orientation as neededBenefits & Perks:
