This role is for the Clinton, Mississippi area and involves managing pipefitting crews, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring that all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a comprehensive understanding of piping systems, schematics, and technical drawings. This position plays a vital role in delivering efficient, safe, and high-quality pipe installation services on time and within budget. Pay is $38.00 - $42.00/hour depending on experience. Weekly pay by direct deposit No per diem is offered. Responsibilities Supervise and manage pipefitting crews to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation processes accurately. Coordinate construction schedule activities with project managers using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or Procore. Oversee safety compliance on-site by enforcing OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations. Review construction drawings and schematics to verify specifications before installation begins. Manage procurement of materials and equipment necessary for pipefitting operations, ensuring timely delivery. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure installations meet design specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with project teams to develop detailed construction schedules and monitor progress regularly. Lead crew management efforts including training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution. Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, change orders, and safety reports using tools like Prolog or Contracts management systems. Ensure all work adheres to construction regulations, safety protocols, and client requirements. Experience Proven management experience supervising pipefitting or plumbing crews within commercial or heavy civil construction projects. Extensive construction site experience with a focus on pipeline installation, industrial piping, or related fields. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately. Familiarity with construction management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam, and Prolog. Knowledge of OSHA standards and federal safety regulations applicable to heavy civil and pipeline projects. Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and project management principles. Experience in managing contracts, change orders, and project documentation effectively. Skilled in using tools for electrical testing or other relevant measurement instruments. Ability to lead teams efficiently while maintaining high safety standards and quality workmanship.
