This hands-on leadership role involves bidding, budgeting, material ordering, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity for Red Hawk Excavating and Concrete, LLC. Essential Job Functions
  • Oversee and supervise Equipment Operators and field teams across multiple construction sites.
  • Manage daily operations, including running project sites, coordinating crews, and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Participate in bidding processes and collaborate on project budgeting with team members.
  • Order and manage materials, supplies, and equipment needed for projects.
  • Perform hands-on equipment operation and field work as needed alongside supervisory duties.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations for excavation and concrete work.
  • Monitor project progress, quality workmanship, and resolve on-site issues promptly.
  • Conduct equipment inspections, maintenance oversight, and report needs.
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors, team members, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Assist with general labor and construction activities when required.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in excavation, groundwork, utilities, and concrete construction.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in construction field operations.

  • Ability to read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in bidding, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship. Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a leadership/foreman role.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • CDL preferred, but not required.
  • Proven ability to operate and oversee heavy construction equipment safely.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Salary DOE (Depending on Experience). Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform hands-on work throughout the workday.
  • Ability to frequently enter and exit heavy equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments exposed to dust, noise, uneven terrain, and changing weather conditions.
