Job Overview SIS Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Foreman to join our industrial electrical team. This position is responsible for leading crews in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in industrial facilities. The Electrical Foreman will oversee daily field operations, ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, coordinate with project managers and site leadership, and help drive projects to successful completion. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong industrial electrical experience, good communication skills, and the ability to manage crews in fast-paced environments such as planned projects, outages, and turnarounds. Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical crews on industrial projects, maintenance work, outages, and turnarounds. Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, including low-voltage and high-voltage equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, one-lines, and technical drawings. Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and ensure crews have the tools, materials, and information needed to complete work safely and efficiently. Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, customers, and other trades to keep projects on schedule. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety policies, customer requirements, OSHA standards, and National Electrical Code requirements. Oversee conduit installation, cable pulling, terminations, equipment connections, lighting, power distribution, controls wiring, and instrumentation-related electrical work. Assist with troubleshooting electrical systems, motor controls, panels, MCCs, VFDs, and related industrial equipment. Monitor job progress, manpower needs, material usage, and field productivity. Complete or assist with daily reports, time sheets, jobsite documentation, permits, and safety paperwork. Train, mentor, and support electricians and helpers to maintain quality workmanship and safe work practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Requirements Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician, Electrical Foreman, or similar field leadership role. Strong background in industrial electrical construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Ability to lead crews and manage daily field activities. Experience working in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, processing facilities, refineries, chemical plants, or similar environments. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, one-lines, and technical drawings. Knowledge of NEC standards and safe electrical work practices. Experience with conduit systems, cable tray, wire pulling, terminations, panels, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, motors, controls, and instrumentation is preferred. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, meters, and electrical testing equipment. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding industrial environments when required. Strong communication, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills. Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work well with customers, supervisors, and crew members. Ability to work overtime, weekends, nights, or travel as project needs require. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience managing crews on turnarounds, outages, or planned industrial projects. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. NCCER certification or electrical license is a plus. Experience with PLCs, controls, instrumentation, and troubleshooting automation systems is a plus. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
