The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of fence construction, understand how different fencing systems work, and be capable of managing crews, equipment, and project timelines while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards. Responsibilities Lead and supervise fence installation crews on residential and commercial projects Read and understand project layouts, measurements, and fence specifications Build and install a variety of fencing systems including chain-link, wood, vinyl, aluminum, and custom fences Operate and oversee the use of equipment such as excavators, skid steers, augers, trailers, compact equipment, and power tools Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to company quality standards Train crew members on proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and job site safety Coordinate materials, tools, and labor needed for each project Troubleshoot installation issues and make field decisions when needed Maintain clean and organized job sites Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and management Ensure jobs are completed on schedule and crews remain productive Requirements Previous experience as a Fence Foreman or fence crew leader preferred Strong understanding of fence construction methods and structural integrity Ability to operate construction equipment and hand/power tools safely and able to drive truck and equipment to an from job site Experience running and motivating a crew Ability to read measurements, grades, and layouts accurately Strong work ethic, leadership skills, and problem-solving ability Valid driver's license required CDL is a plus Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions What We're Looking For We want someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, understands how to build strong and durable fencing systems, and can keep crews productive while delivering quality results.
