This is not a position for someone who only gives instructions. We are looking for someone who can take a project, understand the full scope, manage the crew, control costs, work fast, and produce real daily progress. The right person should be able to manage a remodeling project from start to finish and work side-by-side with a small crew of 2-3 workers.Responsibilities:
Manage a crew of 2-3 workers on a daily basis Assign tasks and make sure work is completed correctly Work physically alongside the crew Maintain a fast and efficient production pace Keep projects on schedule Plan the correct order of work Estimate how long each phase should take Understand and control labor costs Understand and control material costs Prepare accurate material lists Reduce wasted labor, materials, and unnecessary expenses Work within the project budget Identify cost overruns or problems before they become larger issues Inspect workmanship and maintain high quality standards Solve jobsite problems without constant supervision Make sure there is real progress every dayRequired Experience:
Basement Remodeling Full Basement Finishing Bathroom Remodeling Kitchen Remodeling Framing Drywall Painting Flooring Tile Trim and Finish Work Cabinets Doors and Windows Demolition Structural Repairs Exterior Work Basic Plumbing Basic Electrical General Home Remodeling We are looking for someone with broad construction knowledge, not someone who only specializes in one trade. You should be able to walk into a project and understand: What needs to be done What order the work should be completed in How many workers are needed What materials need to be ordered How long the job should take How to complete the project efficiently and profitably We need someone who understands both construction and numbers . You will be responsible for production speed, crew performance, labor cost, material usage, quality, and daily progress. We are looking for someone who can work fast, professionally, and correctly without sacrificing quality . This is a long-term, full-time position. We are building a permanent construction team, not hiring for one project. The right candidate will become a key person in the company and may have the opportunity to grow into managing additional crews and projects in the future.Pay:
$200.00 - $300.00 per day Application Question(s): Have you managed a construction crew of at least 2-3 workers? Can you personally perform framing, drywall, flooring, tile, trim, and general remodeling work? Do you have experience managing labor costs, material costs, and project budgets? Are you willing to work hands-on alongside the crew every day? Are you comfortable meeting with potential customers, reviewing the project scope, and preparing a rough estimate based on labor, materials, and expected project cost? Can you quickly estimate basic labor and material costs in your head or on-site to help determine an approximate project price?Experience:
