You understand how someone's mind is wired as well. And that's a good thing, because this job requires leadership. You can handle it because you have experience leading a job site to completion already. Sound like you? We'd love to chat. Kidwell is seeking an Electrical Foreman in the Lincoln area. Previous experience running large sized commercial or multi-unit residential jobs is preferred. Applicants must also possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with a passion to lead a team and job effectively. This position comes with extreme growth potential as we continue to expand in the Lincoln market. Almost all of our leadership team (PM's, Estimators, Directors, etc.) started out in the field, and we continue to have new leadership opportunities created regularly. Current State of Nebraska Journeyman license is required. All organizations deserve a first-rate experience when partnering with Kidwell, and the Foreman Electricians will directly represent Kidwell on job sites and in front of customers.
What You'll Do:
Strategically plan and delegate tasks to apprentices and journeyman on the jobsite Train and develop staff on jobs to create competent and capable teams Partner with Kidwell Project Management team to coordinate change orders, purchasing, RFI's, and other tasks to help support a successful job Coordinate with the Field Personnel Director to predict future staffing needs Work from drawings and blueprints supplied to make efficient use of materials and labor, in order to provide a high-quality installation and services Manage and coordinate changes to job scope, always aiming to keep jobs within the estimated budget and timeline Effectively prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects and jobs Work effectively with the general contractor and other contractors on site to maintain project timelines Install and repair electrical systems and equipment within the scope of the job Create and maintain a safe work environment, meeting or exceeding OSHA regulations Do You Have What It Takes? Previous experience managing medium to large job sites and a Journeyman's license are required Excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills are required Must be passionate about developing an outstanding team and creating an environment that allows for growth opportunities Minimum of 6 years of field experience is preferred Applicants looking to grow and advance their career in the electrical trade will be strong candidates All candidates must be able to pass a physical exam and drug screening, and must maintain a valid Driver's license Kidwell Core Values At Kidwell, our core values make us who we are and show in everything we do; Led by passion , we believe our everyday jobs contribute to something bigger than ourselves.
