$30-$38/hour, based on experience Leopard Roofing is growing, and we're looking for an experienced roofing professional who can do two things extremely well: 1. Diagnose and repair roofs correctly. 2. Lead a full roof installation when needed. This is not an entry-level roofing position. We are looking for someone who understands roofing systems, can troubleshoot water intrusion instead of guessing, is comfortable working independently, communicates well with homeowners, and can step into a Working Foreman role when one of our installation crews is completing a full roof replacement. If you've spent years actually fixing roof problems, understand flashing and water movement, and can walk onto a job site and take ownership, we want to talk to you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
ROOF
REPAIR & SERVICE
On repair and service days, you will independently handle residential roofing issues including: Leak diagnosis and troubleshooting Asphalt shingle repairs Missing, damaged, loose, or improperly installed shingles Pipe boot and penetration repairs Step flashing Wall flashing Chimney flashing Valley repairs Ridge and ridge-vent repairs Roof-to-wall transitions Ventilation issues Skylight-related roofing repairs Minor decking replacement Low-slope roofing repairs Modified-bitumen/self-adhered systems such as GAF Liberty Minor fascia, soffit, siding, and exterior repairs associated with roofing problems Emergency temporary repairs when appropriate Attic inspections to help trace water intrusion We are specifically looking for someone who knows the difference between fixing the source of a leak and simply covering something with sealant. You should understand how water travels through a roofing system and know how to investigate before making a repair.
WORKING FOREMAN / FULL ROOF INSTALLATIONS
When Leopard Roofing has a full roof replacement underway, your role may transition from Service Technician to Working Foreman. You will serve as Leopard Roofing's on-site field representative.
Responsibilities may include:
Reviewing the project scope before installation begins Coordinating with the installation crew Confirming materials and accessories Monitoring tear-off Inspecting exposed decking Photographing unforeseen conditions Reporting additional work before it is completed Monitoring installation quality Checking flashing details Checking valleys, penetrations and transitions Confirming ventilation requirements Monitoring underlayment, starter, drip edge and ridge installation Handling small field issues before they become big ones Making material runs when necessary Maintaining job-site cleanliness and property protection Communicating with the homeowner throughout the project Performing final quality-control inspections Creating and completing punch-list items We are not looking for someone to stand in the driveway and watch another crew work.
