Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Foreman to lead field crews, coordinate daily operations, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, experienced in construction or specialty trade work, and confident managing crews and jobsite logistics. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise installation crews on playground and site-prep projects Coordinate daily tasks, assign work, and ensure productivity Read and interpret plans, layouts, and installation instructions Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and clients as needed Manage materials, equipment, and jobsite organization Perform hands-on construction tasks as required Document progress, issues, and completion details Maintain a professional, respectful jobsite environment Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in construction, site work, or specialty trade contracting 1+ years of crew leadership or foreman experience Ability to operate common construction tools and equipment Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get you to the yard daily Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions Truck and trailer hauling experience Ability to pass background check for job-sites at schools/military bases Preferred Qualifications Experience with playground installation or commercial outdoor construction Equipment operation experience (skid steer, auger, etc.) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a PLUS Familiarity with municipal or school district project requirements
