Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Drywall Foreman to lead installation crews across residential and commercial construction projects. This role demands someone with deep trade knowledge, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly in both English and Spanish. You will be the critical link between field crews, project management, and other trades — owning the quality and flow of work from first layout to final punch. Duties Lead, coordinate, and supervise drywall crews through all phases of installation including framing, hanging, taping, finishing, and punch-out Conduct thorough job walks before, during, and after each phase to verify scope, identify deficiencies, and confirm work meets specifications and quality standards Manage trade handoffs with framers, electricians, plumbers, and painters — ensuring preceding work is complete and correct before your crews begin, and that your scope is fully ready for the next trade Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications with precision; flag discrepancies before they become field problems Communicate daily with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors in both English and Spanish to keep crews aligned and projects on schedule Enforce strict quality control — check fastener patterns, joint treatment, corner bead, and finish levels against project specs; do not pass deficient work forward Coordinate daily schedules, manpower, and material needs; keep accurate daily logs of production, crew hours, and progress Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific safety plans; conduct regular toolbox talks and safety briefings in both English and Spanish Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques, tool use, and quality expectations Requirements Minimum 5-10 years of experience in commercial or residential drywall, with at least 2 years in a foreman or lead role Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) — this is essential for daily crew communication and coordination with project teams Extensive hands-on knowledge of drywall systems: framing, boarding, taping, finishing levels 1-5, fire-rated assemblies, and sound attenuation Proven ability to read and interpret construction documents, RFIs, and submittals Strong understanding of sequencing, scheduling, and how drywall interfaces with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades Meticulous attention to detail — you catch problems before they become callbacks Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple units or areas simultaneously OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
