Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting student well-being in a dynamic educational setting this school year. This full-time contract opportunity seeks a dedicated School Psychologist ready to work closely with K-12 students and school staff, providing expertise that fosters a positive learning environment. Located near Boulder City, NV, you'll make a meaningful impact within a supportive team. What you'll need to succeed: Current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (State credentials, NASP preferred) Experience in K-12 educational settings Strong understanding of assessment tools, counseling techniques, and special education processes Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families Ability to manage case loads and maintain accurate records efficiently Your responsibilities will include: Conducting psychological and academic assessments for K-12 students Collaborating with educators, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) Providing direct counseling and intervention services to students Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and supporting Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives Offering crisis intervention, as needed Maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations In this contract position, you'll enjoy a role that offers autonomy, collaboration, and variety in your daily responsibilities.
