General Foreman - Transmission (Electrical Construction) We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Foreman with expertise in transmission construction to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in managing large-scale construction projects and leading teams to success. As a General Foreman, you will oversee all aspects of transmission construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership and organizational skills will be crucial in managing crews, schedules, budgets, and equipment to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate transmission construction projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
Crew Leadership:
Supervise and direct a team of construction workers, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused environment.
Safety Compliance:
Uphold and enforce safety standards to ensure the well-being of all team members on-site.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor work quality to meet or exceed project specifications and industry standards.
Budget Oversight:
Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources and materials.
Equipment Utilization:
Operate and oversee the use of construction equipment to maintain project progress and productivity.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in transmission construction, with hands-on experience in
ACSR/ACSS
projects.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrated expertise in using construction equipment and interpreting technical drawings and project plans.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
