Residential Construction Foreman

KJ Custom Builders LLC is hiring a foreman! KJ Custom Builders is a family-owned and operated residential construction business out of Erieville specializing in new builds, additions and remodels. We are looking to add a foreman to our team who has at least 5 years experience in residential construction. We expect this person to be passionate about construction, high performance homes and high-quality finishes while also giving the highest care and consideration for our clients and their homes.

Residential Construction Foreman Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, standing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, walking, twisting, crawling, reaching, kneeling, hand/eye and foot/eye coordination, hearing, and okay working with heights.

Hours of Work:

Full Time, 36-45 hours/wk, M-Th (Fridays optional), overtime over 40

Pay:

DOE starting at $30/hr PTO, all work within 20 minutes of Erieville, 8 paid holidays.

Job Qualifications:

At least 5 years of general construction or building experience. Must have a clean driving record, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Good communication skills with co-workers and homeowners, with a focus on customer service, and high quality construction. Skilled in the use, general maintenance and proper safe operation of hand, power, and motorized tools and machines associated with construction such as chop saws, table saws, impact guns, air guns, drills, boom lifts, etc. Ability to follow plans and comprehend scope for construction projects. Experience with new construction, framing, trim carpentry, basic electrical and plumbing, etc. Ability to work independently as well as with a team, with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. Ability to lead at least two laborers and give appropriate instruction based on the day's projects.
