Restaurant Construction The Opportunity You will serve as a critical field leader, driving the successful execution of high-end restaurant builds and complex renovations across New York City. This role allows you to own projects from demolition through final delivery while managing site operations and mentoring your crew. You will have the autonomy to run the field and the support of a tight-knit, collaborative leadership team. How You Will Make an Impact Supervise and mentor daily field crews to ensure precision in carpentry and interior finishes. Manage the complete lifecycle of restaurant projects including demolition, structural framing, and high-end millwork. Coordinate on-site mechanical, electrical, plumbing and kitchen hood subcontractors to maintain strict project timelines. Conduct field measurements and interpret architectural drawings to ensure flawless project execution. Monitor daily labor, materials, and job costs to keep hospitality projects aligned with the budget. Resolve real-time technical and logistical issues on-site to prevent project delays or safety hazards. Required Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of leadership experience as a carpentry foreman or crew lead. Proven experience specifically managing restaurant builds, commercial kitchens, or hospitality projects. Deep expertise in commercial carpentry, framing/sheetrock, and luxury interior finishes. Strong ability to read, interpret, and execute architectural blueprints and mechanical drawings. Excellent communication and coordination skills necessary for managing field crews and subcontractors. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Extensive hands-on experience coordinating diverse trades including electrical, plumbing, and tiling. Proficiency with digital construction project management tools such as JobTread. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting custom architectural millwork in high-end commercial spaces.
