Position Overview Sterling Coats Painting LLC is looking for a hungry, experienced Painting Foreman who knows how to lead a crew, push people to perform, and get the job done on time, every time. This is not a role for someone who wants to coast. We need a sharp, driven leader who takes ownership of their jobsite, holds their team accountable, and has the experience to back it up. If you thrive under pressure, know how to manage people, and take pride in delivering quality work on deadline, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Lead and manage a crew of painters on active jobsites across NYC and the surrounding area Push your team daily to meet deadlines, maintain quality, and stay on schedule Oversee all jobsite operations from setup to completion Ensure work meets Sterling Coats' quality standards and client expectations Coordinate with ownership and management on project timelines and progress Maintain a safe, professional, and productive work environment Solve problems on the fly and keep the job moving, no excuses Train and mentor apprentices and junior crew members Manage materials, supplies, and equipment on-site What We're Looking For Proven experience managing a painting crew or construction team (required) Strong leadership skills, you know how to motivate people and hold them accountable Experience in commercial and/or residential painting Ability to read a schedule and do whatever it takes to hit deadlines Smart, resourceful, and able to think on your feet Fluent in English and Spanish Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Reliable, punctual, and professional Hunger to grow, this is a company that rewards people who perform
