Coastal Mechanical is looking for experienced Commercial Plumbing Foremen and Commercial Plumbing Mechanics to join our growing team. We are seeking dependable, experienced tradespeople who take pride in their work and can handle commercial plumbing projects ranging from service and jobbing work to larger installations, renovations, and construction projects. Our work consists primarily of commercial plumbing, including service and jobbing, renovations, new installations, equipment replacement, and commercial construction throughout Long Island. Responsibilities & Experience Commercial plumbing installation, service, and repair Jobbing and commercial service work New commercial plumbing installations and renovations Domestic water, sanitary, waste, and vent piping Gas piping and associated equipment Water heaters, pumps, fixtures, valves, and related mechanical equipment Read and work from plumbing drawings, specifications, and plans Layout piping and coordinate installations with other trades Troubleshoot existing commercial plumbing systems Perform clean, professional installations in occupied commercial buildings Follow applicable plumbing codes and job-site safety requirements Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment Additional Foreman Responsibilities Foreman candidates should have the ability to run commercial projects, coordinate manpower, communicate with project managers and customers, order and track materials, supervise mechanics and helpers, and keep projects moving efficiently and on schedule. What We're Looking For Ideal candidates will have several years of hands-on commercial experience, a valid driver's license, strong troubleshooting abilities, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently when required.
