• Core Responsibilities Lead residential and commercial plumbing/heating installations from start to finish Oversee crews, delegate tasks, and maintain efficient workflow on active job sites Diagnose complex plumbing and heating issues and fix them Maintain clean, safe, professional job sites and enforce safety protocols Track materials, anticipate needs, and prevent downtime or delays Provide clear updates to office staff and handle field adjustments or change orders •Required Skills & Experience Extensive hands-on experience with boilers, hydronics, gas piping, full-system installs, and service work Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and scope documents Mastery of copper, PEX, PVC, cast iron Solid communication skills with clients & internal teams Valid driver's license and clean driving record (you drive a company truck & bring home at night) Reliability, professionalism, and a strong sense of ownership •What We Offer Steady, year-round work across Long Island (No city work) Competitive pay based on experience and leadership ability A fully licensed and insured company with a strong reputation Supportive environment with room to grow and lead larger projects Respectful, team‐oriented culture built on craftsmanship and accountability Company Description AJL Plumbing and Heating started by a man that was dedicated to the field of plumbing for over 22 years.
