Overview:
We're looking for a hands-on Production Foreman who can lead from the floor and keep production running with consistency and discipline. You'll manage daily operations, coach employees, maintain schedules, and ensure work is completed according to established methods and quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, follows process, holds the line on expectations, and keeps the team moving efficiently.
What You'll Do:
Lead daily production workflow for your team, working side-by-side to keep jobs moving and completed the right way. Drive consistent execution of established processes, standards, and build methods across the floor. Plan, organize, and coordinate workload to ensure materials are staged, labor is aligned, and projects stay on schedule, on budget, and to quality expectations. Run pre-shift meetings, assign tasks, and set clear expectations for safety, quality, and daily output. Monitor production performance throughout the shift, address issues in real time, and keep the team focused on priorities. Supervise schedules, review timecards, and manage attendance and performance issues in coordination with HR. Train and mentor team members on proper methods, safe equipment use, and PPE compliance. Ensure equipment and tools are maintained, repaired, and ready to prevent downtime. Track production progress and provide regular updates to leadership on output, quality, and blockers. Own quality on the floor by monitoring workmanship, tracking defects, and coordinating corrections with other teams when needed. Enforce safety policies, quality standards, and company expectations consistently.
Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience in construction, manufacturing, or production — including supervising teams while performing the work yourself.
Leadership:
Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a fast-paced production environment.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify issues and implement solutions quickly.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but hands-on experience is highly valued .
